UNDISPUTED DEBATE LEAGUE RULES
OVERVIEW
A wrestling topic of discussion or scenario will be presented to 2 opponents on the card. User A will decide which side or option they wish to debate from and User B the other (this will be on a first come first served basis). It doesn’t matter if you miss out on your preferred option, you are assessed on the quality of your debate, not whether you’re arguing from the more popular option. User A will then post their first argument, and User B will then have 120 hours (5 days) to post their first side of the argument. User A will then post a rebuttal (to develop their argument further or criticize their opponent’s arguments, followed by User B’s rebuttal. When both debaters have finished their rebuttals the topic will be locked for voting by the Undisputed Panel. Results will all be posted on the monthly card. An Undisputed Champion will be decided and will retain or lose the title depending on the voting process. The Panel currently consists of Goldenboy79, Kaveman1969, and Thomc1010 RULES Remember that the time limit for each argument or rebuttal is 120 hours (5 days). Failure to do will result in a DQ and you will lose the debate. If for whatever reason a debate cannot be finished please private message a member of the Undisputed Panel. The 5 day timeframe also exists for Users when selecting their debate topics. This needs to be enforced to prevent hold ups when debates get started. Failure to complete an argument (without informing the UD Staff) will result in an official strike and if necessary a minor infraction. If a User receives 3 strikes the Panel will have to reconsider whether the user should continue to debate. Undisputed Debates are determined by votes by the Panel (providing the debate is finished) by DQ (Failure to complete, breach of rules) or by forfeit (Debater notifies one of the UD officials and confirms they are unable to complete). Please accept the judges decision as final. No one likes to lose but please do not kick up a big fuss or criticize the official decisions. Take matters to PM and do not create drama on the forum The #1 contender for the Undisputed Championship will be selected by the Panel on consideration of who is most deserving from Post Quality and a winning streak. The Undisputed Championship CAN be lost on a DQ if the champion fails to complete their argument. Please do not use foul language or make personal attacks against your opponent in any debate. Please make your argument your own and do not make obvious cut and pastes from websites such as Wikipedia.
